At Animali in Vendita, we personally organize every shipment to ensure your new companion arrives safely, stress‑free, and with all necessary documents. We work exclusively with IATA‑certified pet couriers and specialized animal transport companies that prioritize welfare, temperature control, and real‑time tracking.

European Union: Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, Portugal, Ireland, Denmark, Sweden, Finland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Slovenia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, Malta, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia.
Non‑EU Europe: Switzerland, Norway, United Kingdom (additional documents), Iceland (only by air).
Other continents: upon request (North America, Middle East, Asia) with IATA partners.

📄 Documentation provided

• EU Pet Passport (vaccinations, microchip, rabies titer if applicable)
• Veterinary health certificate (issued within 7 days of travel)
• CITES certificate (for parrots, reptiles, primates, exotic pets)
• Genetic health guarantee certificate (12 months)
• Sales contract and invoice (for customs)

🔒 Tracking and insurance

Every road and air shipment includes live GPS tracking. You will receive a link to monitor the journey. Basic insurance (up to €1,500) is included in the shipping cost. Extended insurance available upon request.

In case of delay exceeding 12 hours, you receive a 20% refund on the shipping price. If the animal is lost or dies during transit (extremely rare), we refund 100% of the animal’s purchase price plus shipping.

• Italy / Spain / France / Germany / Benelux: 24‑48 hours
• Central/eastern Europe (Poland, Czech Republic, Hungary): 2‑4 days
• Scandinavia / UK / Ireland: 3‑5 days
• Islands / air freight: 3‑7 days

💰 Shipping costs (examples)

• Italy & Spain: from €120 to €250 (depending on size)
• Central Europe (Germany, Austria, France): from €150 to €350
• UK, Scandinavia: from €250 to €450
• Air freight (Canary Islands, Middle East): from €350 to €800

The final cost is calculated at checkout based on species, cage size, and distance. We never add hidden fees.

✅ Delivery procedure

Upon arrival, the buyer must:

• Inspect the animal immediately for any signs of distress or injury.
• Sign the digital delivery receipt (or use the contactless option).
• Contact our support within 12 hours if issues arise (photo/video evidence required).

If you cannot be present, you may authorise a third party with written consent.

⚠️ Weather and force majeure

Shipments are suspended if outside temperature exceeds 30°C or drops below -5°C for more than two consecutive days (unless the vehicle has certified climate control). In case of strikes, natural disasters, or customs delays, we will reschedule within 5 working days at no extra cost.
