Marly is a male Macaque monkey of considerable strength and intelligence. He has been raised with a human‑centric protocol that includes bottle‑feeding, constant tactile stimulation, and early exposure to a variety of stimuli. This has made him extremely trusting and outgoing. He loves to climb, solve puzzle toys, and engage in interactive games. His diet includes bananas, apples, oranges, grapes, carrots, green beans, walnuts, pecans, and a nutritionally complete primate pellet. He drinks from a water bottle and readily accepts new foods.

Training and behaviour
Marly knows his name and comes when called. He voluntarily enters his travel crate and accepts a harness. He uses a designated toilet area and is clean. He has learned to “sit”, “stay”, and “give paw”. He is not destructive when provided with appropriate toys. He is vocal and uses a range of sounds to communicate. He has been socialised with children (aged 7 and above) and with other pets, including large dogs.

Socialisation
